Kiting is done above 10 C°, which is from April to November. Winds are best in September, but it is also raining a lot then. The weather in Holland is very variable. From March to October the temperature is pretty good. When you are lucky you can have some days that you don`t have to wear a wetsuit. But normally you definitely need a wetsuit. In the months November to February it's winter time. Only die hards go out kiting with mask, gloves and shoes.
Spot is available for wind from SW to NNE. Best winds in September and October. Bad months are July and August, when the sun is there and eastern winds arrive.
There are 2 official kitespots, one in the north (surfclub / beach-house "the spot") and one in the south (a sailing club). A strong sideshore current can be tricky.
