Real, excellent waves. Big surf. There are a few small rocks in the impact zone. There are more rocks in the surf zone to the North. Waddell is a good place to watch (good competition venue) since the action is up close.

 Comments
08-02-25 gideonlow: Advanced to Expert riders. On a good day, the break is crowded and everyone expects you to know how to thread through tight traffic gracefully. Take a few sessions to learn the local rules and riders and you'll have a great time here. On your first visit start out riding downwind of the main launch until you learn to navigate the lineup. Right-of-way is basically standard surfing rules, but it's a good idea to yield any time it's a close call(particularly on big surf days)
