Flat to choppy and shallow water close to the beach. Nice waves breaking just behind the area. The water can be relative polluted by the fisherman harbor right in front or for the fisheries around, anyway we have not found yet a season where this could be a problem.

There is a perfect beach to take off with enough space for safety in the close north of the fishing terminal with a sandy beach. There are some round small rocks around on the beach.

 Weather
Spring:
- Normal Wetsuit
Summer:
- Shorts
- Shorty

Fall:
- Normal Wetsuit
Winter:
- Normal Wetsuit

300 days of sun a year, no matter winter or summer. In summer you don't need a wetsuit, but in winter a thin one (2-3mm) will keep your session long enough to get tired and not cold. Rarely a 15°C day, and it is very difficult to have a 30°C day as well, so our average is around 20°C in winter and 25°C in summer.

Since it is close to Paracas (10 km) this is still a windy spot, but you will normally find 4 knots less than Paracas, so whenever you are in Paracas and it has light winds, do not come here, but if you are having strong winds in Paracas Bay, this is the right spot to learn or enjoy nice wave. The winds are almost always coming from the South so you will mostly find sideshore winds.

 How to get there
Transport:
- Car
Access:
- Short Walk

Get to Lima and drive through the `Panamericana Sur` to Pisco (km 220) and then keep going south till you reach Paracas Detour. You can get on a bus that will take you directly to Pisco for $4 from Lima (Soyuz) and then you can get a taxi for $4 more from Pisco to Paracas.

 Rules, Restrictions and Extra Info
Rules:
- None

No rules at this spot, but be friendly with the fishermen around, this spot is right in front of the fisherman harbor and they can be very helpful. Beware of people around, you will not get mugged here at all, but you might `loose` things if you are not aware or you are trusting `your new best friend`.

Edit
 Nightlife
Have dinner in the `El Chorito` restaurant (which is a very good restaurant where Peruvians with some money to spend will go), later on go to Hotel Paracas and have some Pisco Sours. If you go to Pisco for fun, do not go alone, get a buddy to go with you. The best night club is at restaurant `As the Oros` which is a premium restaurant and has a very safe environment in their disco.
