Sandy beach, lots of space. Very wide at low tide and small at high tide. Grassy rigging behind the beach. During summer many beach goers close to the parking lot. Walk away from the crowds.
Usual UK conditions dictated by low pressure systems tracking in from West. Spring wetsuit for summer otherwise full steamer required. Can sail all year round if you are hardy enough.
From Swansea west on A4118 and follow signs to Nicholaston and Oxwhich. In Oxwich you can park directly at the beach, and in Nicholaston you have to walk through the dunes. Choose your beach according to the wind directions.
