During spring and autumn with wetsuit, during summer short arm or shorty. A wetsuit is necessary nearly all over the year. The water is between 5-20°C (spring to summer), air temperature is in the average 18°C (in summer) and can go up to 30°C. If you have the adequate wetsuit you can surf from April to November. Off-season is possible but very cold.
From Hamburg drive into the direction Kiel, follow signs to Eckernfoerde and finally Kappeln. From Kappeln follow the street to Flensburg. After about 10 minutes take a left in the direction Maasholm. Arrived in Maasholm drive to the northwest side of the village.
