No real beach, but grass everywhere. Only hazardous objects are trees and bushes alongside the shoreline, together with stones which build the shore. There are two ways to enter the water: 1) Via a small opening with a very large tree on one side and bushes on the other side. 2) Over a set of slippery wooden planks (which take you over the stones - see above) from which you take a deep step into the water (approximately 1m from plank to ground).
From Amsterdam follow Zaandam-Leeuwarden (A8-A7). Turn of by Hoorn Noord and follow the road to Enkhuizen and then follow the roadsigns Sprookjesbos. Park next to the water.
