Wind can be counted on 4-5 days per week from October to December and February to May. January is hit and miss and the summer months you can only expect wind 1-2 days a week. In the windy season, wind ranges from 15-30 kts and usually blows a nice 20-22 kts. The wind is usually blowing from the NE to SE and can be completely onshore sometimes.
Fly into Miami, Ft. Lauderdale or Nassau Bahamas and take a flight to North Eleuthra. From there take a water taxi across the harbour to Harbour Island. It's on the east side of the island. The best is to catch the high speed ferry called `Bohingi` in Nassau to Harbour Island.
