No or just a little beach in front of the small creek. Also depending on water level. But you can always rick on the grassy areas. A wall is next to the water. Watch out for pedestrians.
Works good with E and W winds. At the Bodensee suddenly storms can hit. Therefore a storm warning system has been created, using orange flashing lights, and ships put up a balloon on the mast. Look out for these signals to avoid getting into problems. Best with westerly depressions. Towards the East the wind becomes lighter.
You need a special license to kite here during summer (1. April to 1. September). 25m is the maximum line length allowed. You have to be able to stay upwind to kite here. Watch the boat traffic and the people on land. The space is limited to the east by the camping ground Allensbach, and to the West by shipping Baumann.
