Atlantic ocean. During the winter is one of the only places where you can kite/windsurf because the SW `storm` waves are soften by the sea bottom. Waves are perfect specially if the sea is higher than 2m.

Typical west Atlantic coast beach. White sand, clean beach, huge (10km). Enough space for everything. During summer stay off the crowded area. Only one road to the Fonte da Telha village.
