Big shallow area (32 sqkm) with max. 1.3 m tide. Flat to choppy, no waves. A small beach separates the lagoon from the open sea. Sandy to slickly bottom.
Located in the South of Djerba, next to the Roemerdam (dam connecting the island to the main land). Just get a taxi (cheap) and tip on the map where it is.
08-09-18 Unknown: Staff is very unfriendly. Don`t wait for the rescueboat which you payed for - they are completly careless!
08-03-08 Unknown: Yes stuff here is not very nice they wanted 10 Euro for 10 minutes in the whater. Wind suscks here.
06-02-26 ferdinand: You get charged 5 per for using the `beach` even if you do not kite. unfortunately unfriendly staff at the kiteschool. very slippery on hard and wet mudd. otherwise a nice spot for kiting.
