Suitable for all forms of kiting. Land kiting group meets every Sunday, Kitesurfers are few and far between. Beware of marine stingers during summer, Kitesurf at your own risk. Best water activity is 3 hours before and after high tides, at low tide you can have a 2km walk out to the water. Conway beach is the centre of Land based kiting for the north Queensland coast. Come and join us any Sunday.

Conway Beach is a bay, there is a small rock wall (2m high) along the side of it. Good rigging area on the top of that wall. Once on the beach there is a small strip of soft sand with a bit of shells and drift wood then there is hard sand.
