Shallow lagoon, first 30m sandy underground, after 100-150m sea grass-shallow, after this many coral patches. Wave-kiting depending on swell direction. When it's high tide and big swell, there is also a downwind current in the lagoon.
The best season stretches from May to November with water temperatures between 22°C and 26°C and air temperatures between 22°C and 30°C. Short rain showers possible all year round.
Best winds June to October. During cyclone season it can blow 15-25 kts many days per week. The spot works on Easterly winds, from about 70 to 180 degrees, and does sometimes offer rideable conditions when elsewhere there is nothing, thanks to a thermal effect.
