Big tides. Real waves, choppy. A nice lagoon can be created, depending on tides. Strong rips after high tide coming out of the lagoons, keep hold of your board!
Careful digging for sand to cover your kite, razor shells cover the beach. 3 pounds to park on the beach before 6 p.m. If you hit the beach at low tide you have a good mile to walk to get to the water.
You must have current Kitesurfing Association membership to kitesurf here. This will give you insurance should the worst happen. Regular checks are made by the wardens. It's for the good of everyone and aims to reduce the number of self-learners. Membership also includes regular updates by email and loads of info on current developments of the sport.
