Flat to really big waves, depending on the conditions. The beach break can also get quiet big. Ask locals for the exact location, but all along this "North Strip" is good, so just look for the kites on windy days.
Long, sandy beach with lots of space. In the main area it can get packed during summer, but further north you will find lots of space. Look out for cars driving on the beach. Look out for parking poles on the beach. Many accesses to the beach.
North of Daytona you will find Ormond-By-The-Sea. It has many accesses to the beach. A nice access with parking and facilities is the Tom Rennick Park. During spring and summer it gets more crowded, then drive further north. You can also drive onto the beach and park on the beach.
