The water is shallow in some places even too much for kiteboarding (careful if you don't want to lose your fins), you can find some waves outside the river mouth.

The beach is very small, crowded with too many kiters during summer, hard to even ride. Lots of people that don't care about the beach rules. Expect fights about placing kite equipment!
The Mistral start blowing at 10am and it reaches its maximum at 2pm and slowly dies at sundown. Very constant wind!

Beginners have their own area. They must stay there, because other areas are reserved for jumping and tricks. Be very careful with the swimmers, don't get into their zone.

10-02-24 Unknown: The local guys is NOT frendly. Collect 10 EURO/day, and over there is nothing. Only dirty sand. If you not want pay, the drunk local guy wants fight. Not safety the area.

09-06-15 Unknown: Some stupid gay try collect money. 10 TEN !!! euro/day/kiter. The beach is very dusty. No trash can, shower, RESCUE, "beach boy" (help for launch). One word NOTHING. I think 10 EU is incredible for this.
