This beach is close to the Mexican border. Warm and windy. The mean annual water temperature is approximately 71°F. Winters are typically mild, summers are hot, but cooled by the sea breeze. January, the coldest month of the year, has a mean temperature of 55°F. July and August are the hottest months with mean temperatures between 85-86°F.
From Corpus Christi drive east on 358 onto North Padre Island. Stay on the main road and turn left onto 361 North and drive until Access Rd No 3 and take this to the beach. Park on the beach.
