Season from April/May to October. Wetsuit needed, except perhaps some days in Juli/August. Surfing in the winter is possible if there is no ice, but cold of course.
SW is the dominant direction in the summer time, and a good direction for the spot. The wind is often not strong in July and August apart from days now and then. Better sooner/later in the season.
In Larvik drive southeast on 303. Cross the bridge and in the round about take the first right onto Gloppeskogen. At the next round about take again the first right and get onto Storgaten. Take it to the water, where the street makes a hard left you will find the location.
