Wind is usually from the west, 15-25mph. Excellent for both snow and water kiting. Broadalbin boat launch is a great place to launch from. If you can arrange a ride, it's great to do a down winder from the boat launch to Fish House Road. Stop by Sand Island en route!

09-03-02 Unknown: Broadalbin is great in the winter but actually poor in the summer do to boat traffic and its sheltered cove. NOT GOOD for beginners or intermediates
