Rocky shoreline requires help to launch unless you are good with your turbo launcher. Lots of trees along the shore but with a SW wind and help you can launch near the boat landing with the kite out over the water. Water shallow 250 yards from shore.

Take HWY 51 south out of Madison drive through McFarland then about another 5 miles. The lake will open out in front of you going down a hill. take a left at the bottom on HWY ab and about another mile you will go over the Yahara river take the next right and you are there. Watch out speed limit is 15 and have seen them take radar at the entrance.
