During winter a strong, gusty wind (Poniente) blows from North. Usually a popular beach on a good day, most people go down in the afternoon for the sea breeze. Best wind is the SW (Lebeche); strong and consistent. Also works well with the E and NE wind as it accelarates against the hills. Could be gusty.

Follow the seafront to the end and you can't miss it. Or look for the salt factory from the road with the big 'mountains' of salt, it's behind there.

05-09-15 Jay: During the summer months kiting is not allowed on the main beach, the kite beach is located right at the South end of Santa Pola....follow the seafront to the end and you cant miss it...or look for the salt factory from the road with the big `mountains` of salt, its behind there.
