At weekends don't ride right in front of the barraca, due to many swimmers. Downwind it is empty. Excellent conditions with swell and low tide, a good wave about 200m away from the beach breaks in front of Barraca O Costa. Easy pushing waves, great for wave beginners.

Launch downwind of the barracas, here you wild lots of space and few people. The barracas gets packed on weekends, so stay away well downwind.

Otherwise around 20 knots. From March to June you will find wind as well, but not daily, from 10-25 knots. Usually the wind is sideoffshore in the morning and turns sideonshore around noon. But this beach already works, if Cumbuco is still a bit sideoffshore.
