Cleanest wind here is a straight S or SSE, which has blown across 7 miles of the bay. The prime reason to come here is this is one of the few beaches in this area where the shoreline is not straight East-West. The coast here is NNW-SSE. If the wind is nearly straight North or straight South, this is one of the few sideonshore, sideoffshore coastline areas.
