In contrary to most beaches in Samos this one has sand and a sandy bottom. Also the water is relative shallow which makes it possible to launch in the water. That is also necessary since the beach is narrow and even from June there is a lot of crowd. I would not recommend to kite there in the weekends and in the high-season. Too dangerous for the swimmers and sunbathers.

Be careful to watch the forecast since the thermal effect gives just enough wind to kite, but is NEVER stable to have a good session. Also a wind direction change can occur very rapidly, which makes you drift to Turkey.

There is a sandy road over the beach accessible with a 2 wheel drive car. Add the end there is a small parking lot. Be careful to keep speed at the end if you do not have a 4x4.
