After about 5 miles you get to Rosses Point village. Keep following the road until you come to a T-junction outside a golf course. Turn left, and then follow the road around to the right to reach the beach.

The lifeguard area extends from the first beach (near the car park) to half way down the second beach (near the big buoy stuck in the sand).
