A (tide-dependent) waist-high area stretching 150 m into the sea. Apparently there can be waves when the wind is westerly. There are no reefs or stones, only just for about 10m in front of the beach, which are quiet sharp. Huge lagoons and playground further upwind (North). At low tide the lagoon dries out, leaving only few ridable channels. But the you get very flat and smooth water. Be careful at low tide anywhere, it can get very shallow. Around the lagoons you can find excellent speed areas for up to 800m long.

Some umbrellas may disturb for launching, but kiters should launch to the right. The long coastal strip curves windward here, creating a bay, and stretches further and further out into the water for a kilometer, forming sandbank, before receding again.

The wind can blow sideshore across the wide sandbank and there are no gusts or turbulence. The North to Northeast wind blows sideshore and gains force during the morning, reaching its maximum by midday. Towards the end of the afternoon, the wind generally dies down again. Normally a light breeze and flat water in the morning.

07-04-26 Toby: very nice spot. checking out the lagoon is fun, but only on high tide. some nice little ramps can come with ships passing by, fun kickers!
