Beyond the pier it gets choppy in the Southwesterly sea breeeze. Give plenty of room to the lifesaving club swimming area.

Picks up reliaby around 3-5 pm and stays up until sunset around 8:30 pm. The breeze is pretty constant at 15-20 knts. During Jan-Feb you can kitesurf 75% of the afternoons, the rest of the summer 50%, but the wind is more unreliable and gustier. Can be very gusty and light on the inside in S-SSE. Always smoother air and more wind out past the breakwater. Sideshore: NNW and SSE.
