During summer monsoon can form little waves inside lagoon. The island is big, around 2.7 km the perimeter. The lagoon is very big. Different sea floors: East side with many corals while West side you have sand. Take care at South side of the island, cause a strong current between Meeru and near other island Dhiffushi and also because there is a channel reserved to the boats traveling toward Dhiffushi.
