The Boat House beach sticks out from the shore, almost like a small peninsula. The wind is stronger than strong when happening. Generally wind is side to side off shore, direction is dictated by the location of high pressure north of the islands. The more Northerly the winds on the North sore, the more onshore the wind will be. Situated on one of the windiest bays in the world, this spot can smoke. Northerly trade winds rip between two volcanoes providing smoking sessions, if riders are prepared, if not, may be a brutal session. Super spot in fall, winter and spring.
