The launch is less then 100 ft. from a 4 lane highway and powerlines. There have been a few mishaps there already. It is a designated windsurf spot and has a bad wind shadow. Also the thermal is much stronger off shore and new riders don't take that into consideration. They must get across a major boating channel and when they drop there kites and can't relaunch well yet it creates a traffic jam of boats.
