This break can be very treacherous at times so sail at your own risk. A smaller inside break also works protected by the south jetty for easier riding and beginners. Low tide is best for smaller shore break.

The downside is the very long walk from the car to the beach (0.5-0.75 miles). There is a tractor taxi that runs around to help with the walk in June to August.
