Top of the beach is soft sand as the tide rarely reaches there. This beach is normally only used on NE to NW winds and at high tides, when there's no beach available at 'The Dome'. This is actually a small creek mouth, which is only joined with the sea at high tide. There is always enough space to launch/land here.

Water temps are normally a few degrees lower. A wetsuit (shortsuit) is nice at the beginning and end of the season. Definitely not required in summer. Season normally goes from approx. October to April.

Best direction is N or NW, but NE is ok too, providing you don't go too far west (rocks and reef etc). After April, the winds turn W to SW and are gusty/patchy. This beach is normally only used on NE to NW winds, when there's no beach available at 'The Dome'.
