It's blowing here in Aruba Northeast all year long, maybe some lighter days in the month of September-November and in the beginning of December. But that only means it won't blow every day over 15 knots. The chance you can kiteboard are always 90%. Don't forget your small kite sizes! Days of 25 knots are quite normal. Otherwise there are city buses (L10/L10A) going from downtown to the hotel area and minibuses to any destination. Pack tight as city buses are touchy about stepping aboard carrying luggage. 08-03-30 Unbekannt: What they don't tell you is that because the wind is offshore, it is incredibly gusty. It would be an amazing place to ride, with all the butterflat water, if only it wasn't so gusty. If you're working to improve your unhooked riding, this place is pretty much unrideable. I would have hated to learn here, and it probably would have put me off of the sport. True, there's wind, but the quality of the wind is crap. And if your kite goes down, and you can't get it back up, you're looking at a $20 rescue from a boat, so it doesn't exactly instill confidence if you're working on new moves.
