Winds are usually in the 12-20mph range and can be gusty at times. This is a summer spot only as you need southern/northern winds for this spot to go off.

Follow the signs all the way to the Long Beach Peninsula. Spot is near the old Ilwaco airport on the way in. Just head to the Ilwaco Airport (deserted) and look for a break in the trees on the bay side. Park and Ride.
