This beach is heavily used in summer and is not a good place for beginners to learn during heavy usage parts of the day. Main rules are as follows: 1. Launch and land (if possible) in designated kite zones - at least 200 meters east of entry point. 2. Stay at least 200 feet from any bathers. 3. Obey right of way - if you don't know these rules ask. 4. Stay at least 200 feet offshore except when landing or leaving the beach. 5. Wind up lines on the beach. 6. Launch toward the water and keep the kite low until you are over the water. 7. No walking kites back low over people's heads. If possible, get a buddy to meet you downwind, land and angel-walk (ie carry)your kite back. 8. No standing on the beach with a kite in the air. 9. No jumping on the beach. 10. Do not crowd the cottages. Check with any of the locals for updates or details on these rules. It is a very friendly beach as long as you respect other kiters and other beach goers.
