New text:	The beach is soft sand up higher where the tide doesn't reach. If it's windy enough, your gear gets buried by wind-blown sand. Some debris from the nearby trees etc is always on the beach. Small sticks etc. This beach is only normally used when the tide is too high to kite at the Urangan Pier. Even at high tide, there is enough room to rig and launch/land. There is a sand bar just offshore which is covered at high tide but is normally still shallow enough to stand on. At low tide, you have to walk out past the sand bar if you want to kite here. Better to just go around the corner to the Urangan Pier instead! There are some large pipes (stormwater) that cut across the beach downwind from the regular launching spot.
