Very variable conditions. It can have huge rolling sets or sometimes it's butter flat and other times there is lots of chop. It's a very tidal place so if it's windy with tide it's very hard to stay upwind. There is also an offshore rip north of the beach which is easy to see but should be mentioned.
English weather could be anything from 30°C in summer to below freezing in winter. Usually you can sail through winter in a 5mm booties and gloves and shorty in summer.
