Huge lagoon (about 12 km). Flat water, with stronger winds choppy. Mangroves and trees in the water. There is a 150m wide channel between the mangroves for flat water. Small mangroves island about 600m from shore. In about 3km distance 2 further islands, nice for small trips. Sandy bottom.
Warm all year-round. Always sunshine. In summer warm water, colder during winter and spring. During summer a shorty maybe needed; during winter, a thin wetsuit (5/3 or 3 mm) is a very good idea (February 2008: Water and air temperature at about 20 degrees Celsius each). Sun protection is very important.

Excellent, constant wind. From April to October stronger and more reliable. Winter can also be excellent. Normally thermal wind all year. Wind direction in the morning typically is sideshore (ever so slightly offshore), and turns into side-sideonshore shortly before noon (thermal wind coming in). Truly exceptionally great conditions whenever the wind comes from the South (rarely).
