About 1 hour northeast of Munich. Take A92 towards Landshut and Deggendorf. Exit at Dingolfing behind the BMW factory. Now towards Frontenhausen and shortly before it turn left towards Steinberg. Here drive to the sailing school located at the northwest of the lake. Limited parking available.Edit
The west part of the lake is a natural reserve. Don't surf past the buoys.Edit
