Flat to choppy water. The lake is only about 2x0.7 km big. Shallow almost everywhere. Muddy bottom. Look out for a stronger current around the water outlet.

About 1 hour northeast of Munich. Take A92 towards Landshut and Deggendorf. Exit at Dingolfing behind the BMW factory. Now towards Frontenhausen and shortly before it turn left towards Steinberg. Here drive to the sailing school located at the northwest of the lake. Limited parking available.
