Summer nice and warm. Usually a wetsuit is always needed, but high summer just shorts on warm days. Water can get up to 24°C. Fall and spring a thick wetsuit is needed, winter cold but possible to surf.
Get to the island Usedom and drive on B111 to Ueckeritz. Ueckeritz is located at the smallest part in the middle of Usedom. In Ueckeritz follow the signs to the `Segelschule` which is on the Bodden (lake) side, not the ocean. Drive down the street until it ends in a parking lot at the small harbor. Ask the local school for exact info about how to launch etc.
