 How to get there
Transport:
- Boat
Access:
- No Walk

From Caracas you have to go to La Guaira or to Higuerote this are coast cities where you can charter a boat, to take you to la Tortuga Island and once there go to Cayo Herradura, it's from 2-4 hours depending on the speed of the boat. Also you could charter a small plane to take you to La Tortuga island and from there pay a fisher boat to take you to Cayo Herradura. It's not easy to get there, the easiest way is to have a friend with a boat to take you. It has to be at least a 26ft boat because from Higuerote or La Guaira the sea can be strong.
