Flat, choppy, some waves a bit out of the bay. Shallow water for beginners, but one of the most important spots for advanced kiters in Italy as well.

It is not such a beautiful beach. There is some sea grasses and the sand is a bit dark. The beach is pretty long, but not so wide, so take care of the lines. Very crowded during summer.

Talamone is the north edge of a large bay surrounded by hills; the spot is at the end of a hill channel which amplifies the thermic wind. During warm periods (May to September), sideshore wind from the right side is almost on a daily basis, about 5 days a week 12-20 knots, but gusty. S, W and SW winds work well when a weather system is around.
