The season goes from April to November. In that time air from spring 10-20°C, in summer up to 30°C and autumn 10-16°C. Water spring 8-13°C, summer 18-23°C, autumn 8-14°C. You always need a wetsuit. You can go out off-season but it will be very cold, a thick wetsuit or better drysuit, mask, shoes and gloves recommended.
Take E45 and exit at no.59 onto 13 direction Viborg. Pass Tørring, Nørre Snede and Hjøllund. Just after Knudstrup and Torning turn right onto 186 towards Skive. Pass Frederiks and Sjørup until the center of Skive. Here take the 26 direction Nykøbing and Thisted. Just after the steel bridge crossing the Vilsund stay on 26 and get onto 571. At the crossing of 571 and 181 follow the signs to the beach. Pass a huge dune and keep driving to the fisher's houses at the beach. Park on the parking lot to the left before the beach and houses. Do not park between the fisher's houses.
