Best is from West (sideonshore) but it's mostly from the North (pure offshore). The wind is mostly gusty.

By car only (no buses). Get on the Autobahn A2 between Hannover and West Germany. Merge onto B6 via exit number 42 toward Nienburg/Neustadt A. Rbge./Berenbostel. Stay straight to go onto Bremer Strasse/B6. Continue to follow B6. Turn left onto L360. At Mardorf follow signs to the parking place `Weisser Berg`, then the surfers logo signs.

Kite license needed. The kite has to be launched/landed in the water! Only kite in the special kite area (it's on the left side, from the buoys). From November to April the lake will be closed for water sports.
