Flat and shallow, like a lagoon, due to the rocky wave breakers about 130m further out. The breakers are about 80m long and the gap in between is about 30m if you want to pass it.
From Pescara drive south along the coast. About 1 km south of Foro turn right onto Strada Lomera. From here find the way under the railway to the beach. About 650m further south turn right onto Contrada Arielli and immediately right onto the dirt road and under the railway. Here at the small river mouth you can park close to the beach. But more poeple around.
