Clean water, no tides, mostly flat/choppy but if you go to the end in the right side there is a great spot for wave riding. Galeon Bay is a tiny bay with extreme flat water. Also a wave spot.
The beach has a little sand area and behind some trees and a lot of grass area, perfect for launching and leaving your kite without worries. The only negative thing is that in the weekends there is a lot of caribbean locals that leave the place full of garbage and broken glasses, so I recomend to use sandals in the grass area. It's a very well known spot for the expert kiteboarders that prefer to let Orient Bay just for the kite school and the tourist.
10-20 knots, maybe 7-12 days a month with less than 10. Always grows a little after 5-6 pm. Normally blows from East, Northeast. Less wind is expected from August to November (hurricane season).
Also called Coconut Grove, Baie de l´Embouchure, and nicknamed `Baby Beach`. No rules or registration needed. There is a windsurf school in the left end, but they are not very friendly towards kiters. Stay out of their way with kites. Many surfers and windsurfers are not willing to share their spot with kiters, so respect locals.
