Get on the M6, aim for Blackpool. When you hit the water, turn left and drive south to St. Annes and look for kites in the air.

No wind powered vehicles are allowed on the beach currently , however the council has hinted that after this summer (September most likely) they will trial the use of buggies / boards on the beach. Guidelines and rules for this are still being discussed at this time.

Good nightlife and cheap hotels in Blackpool. Pretty ladies in St Annes and Lytham.
