Summer is nice and warm. High season a shorty is ok, a few weeks with just shorts is possible. Usually a wetsuit is always needed. Water max 22°C in summer, normally around 15°C. Access: - Long Walk

Drive on A29 to its end and continue on B210 to Jever and Wittmund. Before Wittmund exit onto B461 and drive to Carolinensiel. Here follow signs to Neuharlingersiel. Now take a boat to get to Spiekeroog. No cars allowed on the island. On Spiekeroog arrived get to the north beach. You need to walk about 800m to the beach.
