Frontal driven winds, best in spring and autumn. Usually westerly depressions. The winds are quiet steady. Works good with S and Easterlies. Best with SE and E. With SE you have the complete width of the lake to ride on.
Drive on A49 and take the exit to Borken and follow signs to Singlis. Turn left onto Borkener Strasse and after 600m turn right onto the parking lot on the meadow, just under the power lines. Parking fees.
The north shore and the small island are a natural reserve, do not step on them. Kitesurfer should avoid this spot, since power lines are just next to the water.
