The spot is very choppy and with waves. The waves are not big although they have enough strength to make you fall if you don't watch out.

The beach is not very clean, locals do leave a lot of trash after camping, you have to be careful. On low tides there is a very small beach from where you can launch the kite, there are some big rocks around so pay attention. It is not too safe to land the kite alone, try to bring someone along to give you a hand.

In summer (mid October to mid April) air temperatures are always near 30°C, and water around 20°C, you can kite with a short wetsuit. In winter (April to October) it gets colder, 20-24°C air, 15-20°C degrees water - bring your 3/4 wetsuit.

The best season to kiteboard this place is from mid February to May and from September to December, this is because we get the Bolivian winter in the summer (January and February) which makes the place cloudy.

From Santiago city (Chile's capital) take a 2 hour plane to Iquique (or a 24 hour bus). In Iquique take a taxi and ask them to drop you at Seremeño beach, close to the airport, you'll see the beach when approaching the coast.
