Fall:
- Normal Wetsuit
Winter:
- Thick Wetsuit / Drysuit

Summer is nice and warm. High season a shorty is ok, a few weeks with just shorts is possible. Usually a wetsuit is always needed. Water max 22°C in summer, normally around 15°C. Winter gets cold, but a thick wetsuit, gloves, mask and shoes make kiting almost year-round possible. Air: summer between 20-30°C, spring and fall around 15°C.

Edit  How to get there
Transport:
- Car
Access:
- Short Walk

Exit A7 on Schleswig/Jagel. Follow signs to Schleswig. Just before you reached Schleswig, you will see the beach to right. Take the first right after the Wikinger tower. Go straight up a small hill, then right again. Follow the street which curves, then turn right again after a sports field. Park on the parking, which is a bit hidden.

Edit  Rules, Restrictions and Extra Info
Rules:
- Restricted Zones

Not suited for kitesurfing due to gusty winds and during season lots of beach goers. Do not enter the island south of the beach, it is a natural reserve. And behind the island you will find a shipping channel. Keep distance.
